Description
Gates as a threshold to property, can be symbolic of a place and its attitudes of public/private/safety/see-ability. Gates within a South African context are essential whereas in Australia they play a more aesthetic role.
Using steel "safety ornaments" to create an object felt fitting as learnt how to weld through these pieces.
Self-taught investigation into industrial design through scrap metals in workshop.
